Yumoto "Hugh" Hidemitsu - President of NEXCO Highway Solutions of America Inc.

We are proud to offer Smart Pavement Management System (SPM), a pavement assessment service powered by AI, primarily serving the states of Texas and Oklahoma. Based in Irving, Texas, we bring over 60 years of road maintenance

experience from our parent company, NEXCO-Central, one of the largest toll road operators in Japan. This wealth of experience, combined with our talented in-house civil engineers and cutting-edge AI technology, enables us to deliver exceptional services that we are confident will meet your needs.

Our AI-generated results are carefully verified by our in-house civil engineers to ensure accuracy and reliability. Each diagnosis is reviewed thoroughly and presented to clients in a comprehensive report, detailed date of an easy-to-use GIS map, featuring road images captured every 33 feet, which can be used for various applications, such as repair planning, council presentations, bond issuance, and communication with residents.

The AI-generated results are carefully verified by our in-house civil engineers to ensure higher accuracy. Our clients receive a comprehensive deliverable that includes the detailed diagnostic results for every 33 feet of pavement, a user-friendly GIS map where they can view actual damage conditions, and a thorough report. This enables our clients to make informed decisions with access to all necessary data and visual insights.

Moreover, these valuable insights can be used in various ways, including for the formulation of repair plans, materials for council presentations, reference data to prepare development plans and financial plans, and better respond to the public.

Since launching our service in 2020, we have successfully supported over 50 municipalities, offering a wide range of services to meet the diverse needs of our clients, including PCI (Pavement Condition Index) correlation, IRI (International Roughness Index) correlation, deterioration predictions, and budget simulations.
