Taking a snapshot of the entire roadway system is critical to reinforce the budget plan. We need to argue that the proposed budget is based on the best facts we know. However, data collection throughout the network is challenging because of time and workforce constraints.
To ensure our clients get the whole picture of the pavement condition, our experienced employees conduct the data collection for you. Also, we utilize internally developed apps to collect data efficiently. Here is the basic flow of the data collection with us:
Prepare the Survey Master based on the Shapefile provided by the customer
The smartphone app automatically takes pictures on every 33-foot
Another app records the drive path to prevent missing a single segment
The Survey Master also allows customers to track the same location pictures over the years, which provides valuable insights into enhancing budget allocation.
Please do not worry, even if you do not have a Shapefile. We propose an alternative using an open-source map available on the Internet.
